If I were at all confident enough in the knowledge of my self to come near an acceptable response to this section without seeming wholly over-the-top or evoking ultimate cosmic unity, I don't think I would be muddling around here, but rather on top of some grand mountain peak or maybe dancing through the streets with strangers and, um, lepers!

Who you are is not what you write, but what you do. For me life is all about comming out of things better then you got into them. Being happy, healthy, and having fun doing it. Radiating this warmth to those around you, especially friends and family. Not letting the world get you down, but instead lifting the world up with you...even if its done in small steps.

on the bus from the airport, i was a little hungry. i anticipated my situation so I packed two biscotti in my shoulder bag. i got them from my hosts in Tacoma: Big Island Candies biscotti from Hawaii. I saw them lying around all weekend, but I was never tempted to eat them over something else. They looked like normal chocolate and white biscotti, with a thick ribbon of chocolate squeezed on one side. The ribbon of chocolate was squeezed in a back-and-forth for a squiggly line garnish. The squiggles were so thick and closely packed, the whole thing reminded me of event-food, stuff intended to saturate a basic craving, either for sweet, salt, or fat, while fitting in with a scene of diversion. You see hot dogs with fat squiggles of ketchup at fairs, and funnel cakes and pretzels, twisted and powdered. Food playful and rich in this standard way can be good, it just wasn't that appetizing at the condo.

perfect for a bus ride, though. I had the chocolate biscotti with the hard chocolate squiggle spread. it was not what i expected. now i wish i had taken a few more. both the cocoa in the cookie and the chocolate garnish tasted like chocolate i've had in the past, but unlike the milk and dark chocolates i've been eating recently. so it wasn't milk chocolate, but the flavor wasn't some variant of more bitter dark chocolate. i've definitely had this before, it was familiar, but i still can't place it. i want to say there was a smoky quality to the chocolate, but 'smoky' isn't quite right since the term has many connotations that don't apply here. still, there's something of the dispersed flavor of a heated/roasted ingredient, i'm getting at. perhaps there is a distinction between bitter dark chocolates and sooty dark chocolates, where the distinction is not so much between types of chocolate, as between dark choco flavor components that can vary by degrees. Given this makeshift way of talking chocolate, i think my biscotti had a strong sooty dark 'flavor profile'. It was good, and something i haven't had in a while. it was a pleasant surprise on an otherwise ordinary bus ride.

I have no idea what makes a chocolate more bitter or more sooty. my guess would be the the roasting of cacao beans strongly accounts for it, but the roasting is so separate from the chocolatier's work, I would say early in the bean commodification stage of chocolate manufacture, that a host of post-roasting processes could be at play. hm, so i think this anecdote characterizes one of the primary ways i'm fascinated by food. i had a series of chowders in seattle, but i seem to get my kicks from chocolate biscotti. hm. hm.

If I had the chance to live my life over, I wouldn't take that chance because I doubt it would be better.

Building my business for the last five years and now I am getting the chance to work in promotions and convention events.

My schedule is very busy as I am a single dad with a 17 year old son. He's going to graduate from high school soon, but will still need his old man to help him out and give him a guiding hand. I have varied interests in many things and in my music. I am very competitive, although I don't compete like I used to, I like my daily dose of sports, and I mean all sports.

The person I am looking for would have to be self-assured, financially stable, mentally stable, independent, doesn't take themselves too seriously, passionate, and funny. I am big on ladies that feel very comfortable in their own skin, especially if they have a few extra pounds. love yourself, love your body.

I think that if there isn't a right connection or you are not sure, talk it out and find out if it is you or the other person. This has been my experience on my last date; she seemed fine and then she was off the radar and wouldn't call back. Sorry for her, its her loss. Illustration, music, and literature are important aspects of my life. I suppose you can say I'm an "Artsy" person, although the beauty of science doesn't escape me. The natural world and its mysteries are like artwork on God's canvas, and as human beings, to be able to observe his masterful strokes is a beautiful and humbling experience.

Very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink, he would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy, the sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical, summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring, we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds, pretty standard really. At the age of 12, I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen, a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum, it's breathtaking, I suggest you try it.

How can someone explain themselves in a paragraph? I'm just your typical Chinese-Vietnamese American. Grew up in San Gabriel Valley. Went to school down in San Diego. Eventually, moved back to LA. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people. Backpacked through Europe by myself a year ago. It was a lifetime experience there.
